Your 14-day cooling-off right (UK)
Under the UK's Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have 14 days from the day you subscribe to change your mind and get a full refund of the subscription fee — no questions asked. This is in addition to the trial we already offer.
To exercise this right, email support@finishedfitness.com within 14 days of your first subscription payment. We'll cancel your subscription and issue a refund to your original payment method within 14 days.
If you've used the paid features extensively during that 14-day window (e.g. exported all data, built a full coach program), we may deduct a proportionate amount under Regulation 36(4). In practice we don't — we'd rather you not pay for something you don't want.
14-day paid trial
Pro and Coach plans include a 14-day paid trial (£1.99 and £4.99 respectively). After 14 days, you're billed the normal monthly rate (£3.98 Pro, £9.98 Coach). Cancel any time during the trial and you keep what you've paid — we don't pro-rate the trial fee.
Cancelling a normal subscription (after the cooling-off period)
- You can cancel any time. Your access continues until the end of the current billing month — no further charges after that.
- We don't pro-rate the month you cancel in. If you cancel on day 5 of a 30-day cycle, you keep access for the remaining 25 days.
- If we made a billing mistake (charged twice, charged the wrong amount, etc.), we'll refund the difference.
How to cancel
- Open PayPal → Settings → Payments → Manage automatic payments → Finished Fitness → Cancel.
- Or email support@finishedfitness.com from the address tied to your account and we'll cancel for you within one working day.
When refunds take to arrive
PayPal usually returns money to your original method within 3–5 business days. Card refunds via PayPal can take up to 10 business days depending on your bank.
Exceptions
We don't refund:
- Charges incurred before you asked us to cancel (except as above).
- Anything paid more than 14 days ago, except where required by law or in our discretion.
- Cases of fraud or material breach of the Terms.
Coaches charging their own clients
If you're a coach using the platform to charge your own clients, that's a contract between you and your client — not us. See the Client Service Agreement template and set your own refund terms there. Finished Fitness can't process refunds for money your clients paid you directly.
